FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making an additional corneal paracentesis at 6 o'clock position at final stage of surgical intervention. Conservative hyphema treatment being found ineffective in two days after the surgical intervention, the lower paracentesis lip is pressed with sterile spatula and hyphema is discharged via the paracentesis. EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; avoided secondary surgical intervention.
