SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hemosorbent that is hemosorbent SUMS-1 modified by its treatment with recirculating 0.06% sodium hypochlorite solution for 20-30 min. Method for treatment of patients with burn disease involves hemosorption operation using hemosorbent prepared by treatment of hemosorbent SUMS-1 with recirculating 0.06% sodium hypochlorite solution for 20- 30 min. Proposed inventions provide the enhancement of detoxificating, reocorrecting and immunomodulating effects of hemosorption operation, decrease of heparin dose for total heparinization of patient that provides prophylaxis of possible bleedings after hemosorption and expansion of number of patients to whom this operation can be performed and enhancement of hemo-compatibility of hemosorbent also. Inventions can be used for improvement of clinical results in treatment of patients with burn disease of different severity degree and also in patients with endotoxicosis of 2- 3-d severity degree of any etiology.
