A method of programmed monitoring of the metering accuracy of a dispensing installation delivering the various fluids mixed to form a made-up product in the storage tanks (4, 5) employs a separate liquid medium for calibration checks on the metering performance.The medium may be a conventional flushing liquid or one of the component fluids which comprise the product and the method requires that a product tank (4) is completely emptied before being filled to the level determined by the gauge (7).The accurately known volume is compared with the metered result for each component (1, 2, 3) by the control/evaluation unit (b) and errors exceeding a given tolerance corrected.
