The device has a visual display for the vehicle position relative to the transponder and a GPS receiver that determines the transponder position, compares this with the vehicle's position and derives and displays vehicle direction information. Vehicle position information are stored in a memory for GPS data. The position of the transponder on leaving the vehicle is stored as the vehicle position.
