The consumption metering device has a generator (1) that derives proportional electrical energy from the current value of the consumption parameter. The energy is used to drive a microsystem gearbox forming a metering mechanism via an electromechanical micro-technical drive (4). The metering mechanism (5) sums and stores the consumption value.
