Adhesive tapes comprise an adhesive section and a holding strip for residue-free and disturbance-free redetachable bonding which can be released by pulling/stretching in the adhesive bonding plane, and in which the bonding region is totally or partially coated with a lacquer by a transfer process. An Independent claim is included for a process for preparation of the inventive tapes in which an adhesive tape, with a release coated carrier on the release coated side, is coated with a lacquer, and optionally dried and/or cured. The lacquer side is bonded to the bonding region of the adhesive tape, which can be released by pulling/stretching in the adhesive bonding plane. Finally the carrier is pulled off the laminate thus obtained, with transfer of the lacquer to the adhesive bonding region.
