The sensor module has a number of color modules, each associated with different wavelengths of the light received by the module and each with a number of individual sensors arranged in rows. The line directions of all color modules are parallel and the individual color modules are arranged so that light received by all color modules originates from the same section of a single straight observation line on the object, which is parallel to the color module line directions. An Independent claim is also included for a detector arrangement for line-by-line optical scanning of moving object.
