The grinding machine comprises a rotary driven support disc (3) for rotary driven grinding tools (5). The centre or diameter line of the support disc aligned in the lead direction , and/or the common plane (E) of the grinding tools is arranged at an acute angle to the workpiece support (6) or to the surface to be finished. The inclined position of the support disc and the grinding discs mounted thereon can be set by suitably inclining the central drive shaft (7).
