The photogravure printing cylinder has a roller body (2) and a ceramic coating (6) that carries a laser gravure pattern. The ceramic coating has a re-faced surface and is applied to a roller body that has previously been used at least once. The roller body has a steel body with an auxiliary coating (4). Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for implementing the method of manufacturing an inventive device, a photogravure printing method and a data medium for a print image.
