Method involves application of an external stimulus to the animal with the evoked brain voltage determined and evaluated. The stimulus can be acoustic, optical, tactile or electrical. The determined and evaluated brain voltage can be used to detect incorrect brain operation in that normal reaction to a stimulus is not detected.
