Bipolar DC coupled high voltage precision amplifier with constant current output

The amplifier has a pair of power transistors (X1,X2) with diodes (D1,D2) that provide blocking and prevent the low resistance saturation condition. Together with differencing amplifiers (U1,U2) they form a modified push pull amplifier with the transistors isolated from the output by a passive circuit.
