Method for accurately stopping lift cabin at target position has proximity sensors controlling drive system placed known distance from target position
The lift cabin (1) travels in a shaft (2) having openings (5) for loading and unloading. Proximity sensors (S) are placed on a wall (3) of the shaft at precise distances from the stop position so that the drive system anticipates the time to apply the brake.
