A transferring device comprises a temperature-regulated vaporizer with a carrier gas feed, a gas-tight injection head, a column or measuring cell outlet and optionally a split outlet. The heated zones in contact with the sample comprise a chemically inert ceramic body consisting of a single homogeneous compound of group 3a and 4a nitrides, such as boron nitride, aluminum nitride and silicon nitride, or a single homogeneous compound of group 3a and 4a carbides, such as boron carbide, aluminum carbide and silicon carbide or single homogeneous compound of group 3a oxides, such as magnesium oxide and aluminum oxide, or a mixture of the above carbides and oxides, or a composite workpiece made from the above carbides and oxides. The ceramic body has electrically conducting structures for impinging a current. Preferred Features: The ceramic body is made from a powdered starting material produced either by hot pressing or by using nanoparticles having a grain size of less than 100 nm, by cold pressing and subsequently sintering in inert gas in a vacuum at at least 1450 deg C; or is made from pyrolytic nitrides or carbides deposited by CVD/PVD in a vacuum at more than 1500 deg C.
