The machine has a machine housing (10) containing a rotor (12) with at least one rotor module (15), having 2 coaxial ferromagnetic rotor rings (16,17) and a permanent magnetic element (18) for generation of radial flux and a stator (11) with at least one stator module (14) with an annular coil (23) coaxial to the rotor shaft (13) and a U-shaped stator yoke (24), with its yoke arms facing respective rotor rings. The latter have outer teeth and fit around 2 permanent magnet rings (26,27) magnetized radially in opposition to one another, with a common flux conductor (29) provided by a ferromagnetic section of the rotor shaft.
