The projectile fuse consists of an igniter (12) and a safety mechanism with a detector (35) to permit ignition in only certain conditions. The detector incorporates an elastic membrane (36) that responds to dynamic air pressure, allowing ignition to take place only when pressure corresponding to a given air speed is attained. The membrane is located in a chamber (37) connected via a channel (40) to an orifice (41) at the front end of the projectile, and has a transmission member (50) in the form of a flexible strip (51) that is deformed to permit ignition. The transmission member can be set to allow ignition or prevent it from taking place.
