Slip stream installation for driving wind generator from slip stream wind

The installation consists of a fan with rotor blades (2-5) supported on a column (11). This is sited at the side of roads or on the central reservation between opposite traffic lanes. The wind created by vehicle slip streams is deflected by wind deflecting panels (14a-14b) against the rotor blades to drive a generator (10). The shape of the vanes is not confined to that shown here, (a half cylinder) but will depend on the site conditions prevailing.
