Dual-cure polysiloxane sols, obtained by hydrolysis and condensation of hydrolyzable organosilicon compounds with blocked isocyanate groups in presence of compounds containing light-activatable unsaturated groups and isocyanate-reactive groups. Thermally- and radiation-curable (dual-cure) polysiloxane sols, obtained by hydrolysis and condensation of (A) hydrolyzable silicon compounds of formula (I) XmSi(R-Yn)4-m (I) m, n = 1, 2 or 3; X = a hydrolyzable group; R = a non-hydrolyzable divalent organic residue; Y = a blocked isocyanate group in presence of (B) compounds containing at least one reactive group with light-activatable bond(s) and at least one isocyanate-reactive functional group. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of these dual-cure sols by hydrolysis and condensation of (I) with the addition of compounds (B) before, during and/or after hydrolysis and condensation.
