The control method involves detecting at least one operational parameter of at least one roller or cylinder and using it to control the technical machine, plant or arrangement, especially for controlling the relevant roller or cylinder in the technical machine, plant or arrangement. The detection is performed by at least one sensor unit on the relevant roller or cylinder.
