A synthetic plastic comprises a main component polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polyethylene (PE); secondary component(s) of polypropylene and/or PE and/or polycarbonate and/or impact toughness modifiers; and an additive component comprising a nano additive, which is melted with the main component PET or PE or a partial PET or PE component as a carrier using known thin film technology. Independent claims are included for: (1) A granulate as a preproduct for preparation of the synthetic plastic (SP), where the granulate comprises: a mixture of granulate bodies from the main PET or PE components; granulate bodies or ground material or powder of the secondary component; and granulate bodies from additive components extruded by known thin film technology, where the latter consist of nano additives and partial PET and PE components as carrier material; and (2) A process for preparation of the SP, in which the additive components are first prepared by extrusion of the partial PET and PE components with the nano-additive component by thin film technology, then the granulate obtained is melted by extrusion, using thin film technology, together with the granulate of the main PET or PE component and the secondary component, and the mixture is worked up to give a granulate.
