Magnetic resonance imaging method in which reduced amounts of higher frequency data are recorded and replaced with synthetic data so that the amount of data to be recorded is reduced thus reducing data acquisition time
Magnetic resonance imaging method in which reduced amounts of higher frequency data are recorded and replaced with synthetic data so that the amount of data to be recorded is reduced thus reducing data acquisition time
Method in which HF resonance excitation pulses and magnetic gradient pulses are transmitted into an imaging region for generation of spatially coded magnetic resonance signals. The signals are detected using an antenna to create a K-space data set (24) that is divided using a phase coding device into lower and higher frequency regions. The frequency ranges have frequency rows (29) with the lower frequency rows more densely arranged than the high frequency rows. In post processing synthetic k-space row are created in the higher range and the row data are then processed using a Fourier transform.
