The method uses electronic control of the train braking systems via a central master control processor, linked via a databus with braking control processors for the carriages of the train, with transfer of data relating to the mass and braked weight of the carriages between the master control processor and the braking control processors during an initialization phase, used for controlling the braking force for each carriage.
