Metal-coated sheet textile is employed. The metal or alloy comprises: Al, Ni, Co, Cu or Ag. The fibers are acrylic, or are mixtures of metallized acrylic fibers and uncoated fibers. Metallized acrylic fiber size is 1 to 3.2 dtex, with ultimate tensile strength 500-1100 MPa and ultimate extension 5-25%. The total fabric weight is 50-500 g/m2, with a 2.5 g/m2 to 100 g/m2 metal layer, or a 5-20% metallic coating. This is introduced into a thermoplastic polymer matrix by back- or over-injection, and a hot pressing at 150 to 220 deg C. Alternatively, a lamination or winding process is employed with a duroplastic matrix at 20-150 deg C with 5-50 Wt% layered fiber content. Preferred features: The textile sheet materials are fabric and/or fleece. In the composite these are coated, with alternating warp/weft or 0 deg -90 deg twist relative to the direction of processing. Preferred structures are illustrated in the disclosure. Textile fabric of metallized acrylic fibers and non-metallized fabrics or fleece in the composite form successive layers in alternating in types 1 and 2 (illustrated). The weight content of metallized acrylic fibers is preferably up to 10%. Alternatively, adjacent textile fabrics comprise metallized acrylic fibers as in types 3 and 0 (illustrated). These make mutual electrical contact. An electrically-conducting core region is formed, or the entire composite is electrically-conductive. To bond metallized acrylic fiber in the textile to the plastic matrix employed, a bonding agent is introduced into the polymer matrix. The insulating- or uncoated fiber components in composite types 1 and 3 (illustrated) are acrylic fibers, glass fibers, aramid fibers, carbon fibers and/or synthetic textile fibers.
