A tough duroplast comprises (wt. parts): (A) a vinyl ester resin free radical-crosslinked by styrene (25-75); and (B) an amine-hardening aliphatic and/or cycloaliphatic epoxy resin (75-25). Also present is an Independent claim for toughening the duroplast.
