The method has optical reproduction devices used for presentation of image signals during a journey, with modification of the image reproduction in dependence on detected travel parameters, e.g. the acceleration, velocity or inclination angle, for reducing the perception of movement by the passenger. The system may use image signals from a DVD or other source, and augmented reality techniques may also be applied. An Independent claim for a motion sickness reduction device is also included.
