The method involves detecting a parameter related to low frequency pressure fluctuations in the passenger compartment using a pressure sensor (11,12) and adjusting the wind deflector (5) based on the sensor signal so that the pressure fluctuations are as small as possible. The computation off the deflector position takes into account vehicle state variables. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: an arrangement for reducing or eliminating low frequency pressure fluctuations in the passenger compartment when traveling with an open sunroof.
