The arrangement has a wind deflector (20) arranged in a front edge area (18) of a roof opening (12) of a roof area (10) with respect to a main driving direction (R) of a vehicle. The wind deflector is pivotably supported opposite to the roof area between a lowered position and a raised position. An adjusting device pivots the wind deflector between the lowered position and the raised position. The adjusting device comprises an actuator (30) that directly actuates the wind deflector using a shaft (26). The shaft extends over entire width of the roof opening. An independent claim is also included for a roof area of a vehicle, comprising a roof opening.
