Cryogenic cooling apparatus for aerosol product mixtures (A), comprising a fluidized propellant gas, includes: (1) an evaporator for a liquid coolant; (2) a heat exchanger (connected with the evaporator) for thermally contacting the coolant vapor with (A); and (3) a regulator for the cooling effect of the heat exchanger. Independent claims are included for: (1) A filling apparatus for (A), comprising a line for supplying (A) from a pressurized container, a product outlet line for supplying (A) to a dosing device and cooling apparatus as described above connected with the dosing device; and (2) A filling method for (A), in which (A) is cooled by thermal contact with a coolant in a cooling device and the cooled (A) is supplied to a dosing device, where the coolant is a liquefied gas (preferably nitrogen) which is evaporated before thermal contact with (A).
