Pump-nozzle element for vehicle internal combustion engine has damping piston and/or plate control edge profile joining sides, bridging angle, facing other control edge as outer edge contour
The device has a nozzle needle (10), a damping piston (16), a damping plate (18) and a stop plate (20). The damping piston and plate have control edges (24) that interact to close an annular gap with respect to a nozzle spring chamber. The control edge of the damping piston and/or plate has a profile joining the sides that bridges an angle and faces the other control edge as the outer contour of the control edge.
