The pump has a slotted tube (3), especially a slotted pot, dividing a wet chamber with a rotor from a dry stator chamber, in which a sensor (12) is arranged immediately next to the slotted tube to detect pump or system parameters, especially a temperature. The sensor is removably inserted into a bore (7) in the rear wall of the motor housing enclosing the stator chamber.
