The composite vehicle has a self-propelled vehicle (1) which can be combined through a docking device with a guide element (8) of two-wheeled docking vehicle (3) so that when joined the rear wheels of the self-propelled vehicle are raised from the roadway. The guide element projects beyond the outer contour of the docking vehicle and in the connected state can be pushed into the frame and/or base group of the vehicle . The docking device has a fixedly mounted fixing device (9) which together with the guide element forms a centring device when docked. Independent claim describes motorised docking procedure.
