The method involves Fourier transformation of spectral components in laser light into a spatial light intensity distribution, modulating it and then transforming it back and collimating to form a laser beam. The spectral components in the laser light are transformed into several separate Fourier planes by beam division and individually influenced by modulation, then recombined, interferometrically superimposed and collimated. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: an arrangement for implementing the inventive method.
