New nucleic acid from Arabidopsis thaliana, useful e.g. for detecting the presence or expression of corresponding genes, involved in metabolism and detoxification

Nucleic acid (I) for qualitative or quantitative detection of Arabidopsis thaliana genes, or fragments, or derived RNA, comprises one of 275 fully defined sequences given in the specification, or their complements and/or reverse or reverse-complementary sequences, or derived RNA, or their derivatives, each able to bind specifically to genes (or their fragments or derived RNA) involved in metabolism or detoxification, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a test kit for detecting the specified genes (or fragments), or their expression, that contains at least one (I); (2) detecting the specified gene (or fragments) or derived RNA by hybridization to (I); and (3) detecting expression of the specified genes.
