The method involves a microcontroller (20) producing control signals, phase modulating the control signals from the microcontroller and then converting them into pulse width modulated signals using pulse coding. The signals contain rotor angle data of the micro stepper motor (21) corresponding to the rotation angle of the moving element (6).
