Current measurement circuit with a shunt in which the measurement resistance (Rsh) is thermally coupled to the measurement current path (OP1). Accordingly the measurement resistance has a wire coiled around it along its longitudinal axis between its voltage taps, with the wire being of the same material as the resistance. One coil end is connected to a measurement resistance tap and the other end is connected to the current path. The other end of the measurement resistance is also connected to the current path.
