Driving group with bearing cover (3) and bearing block forms pre-assembly group and a groove in the crankcase (2) runs crossways between crankcase and bearing block (3) to form an oil channel (14) branched off (15) to the main crankshaft bearing (6). The crankshaft lubrication should wash round the cylinder head securement screws and/or the bearing block fixer screws. The cylinder head is secured by tiebolts screwed into the bearing cover (4) or head below this by nuts. Bearing block and cover are made of material having thermal expansion equal to or less than that of steel. After installing piston and connecting rod on the crankshaft, this along with bearing cover and block are installed as a unit in the crankcase.
