The body of the motor lorry is closed off on the long side by a sliding tarpaulin cover which is secured in the closed state by a customs cable(23). The customs cable by circumferentially closed through-openings, especially clamps(2a) fastened to the lower outer frame(7) of the body, are guided through so that a lifting of the tarpaulin cover away from the body by more than a permissible amount is no longer possible.
