The transporting unit has a means of conveyance endless revolving on at least two direction reversal points and driving pallet car (10). At least one rotational component with a claw is provided in the direction reversal device and its rotational axis coincides with the rotational axis of the direction reversal shaft. The claw is brought into engagement with a projecting component on each car during the direction reversing movement of the means of conveyance so that the pallet car is supported at the front and rear by the claw. The rotational component is connected torsionally fixed to the direction reversal shaft.
