Computer assembly (RB) for insertion in a host computer (HR) comprises a microprocessor, memory, an operating system and internal bus interfaces for connection to the host computer. The assembly also comprises a mono-stable reset (MF) with a time duration that can be preset, so that when a power supply is connected, an internal digital reset signal is generated at least for the microprocessor, which after boot-up of the computer assembly transmits a reset signal to the host computer.
