The brush fitting has a suction channel (2) in an upper housing part (1), a connector (3) pivotably connected to the suction channel with a rotary vacuum pipe connector, a brush roller chamber (4) open towards the floor with a rotary driven brush roller (5) and running wheels (6). The suction channel opens into the brush roller chamber and suction mouth edges (7) extend parallel to the brush roller chamber on the underside of the device. The suction mouth opening edges adapt to the floor surface so as to be vertically movable.
