The connector has a tubular seal (30) mounted on the outer peripheral surface of a fittable portion (11). The seal has a resilient contact (31R, 31F) for contact with an inner peripheral surface of a receptacle. Fastening units (35,37) on the fitting portion prevent the seal from moving forward off the portion. Loose-movement preventing units (19,34) prevent loose backward movement of the resilient contact.
