Pump for the sterile delivery of a heated infiltration fluid into a patient's tissue has a hose roller pump (1), a heater for the fluid taken from its supply bag (16), a sterile disposable hose tube set (2,12,13) and a control unit. All the variable pump data are registered and stored during pumping to be displayed during or after use. Pump for the sterile delivery of an infiltration fluid has a control which sets the total volume of fluid to be delivered and the timed flow rate, and maintains a constant volume flow during the rotation of the pump rollers. The hose tube set has a suction tube, a pump tube and a connecting tube. The pump rollers are spring-mounted. The springs are under a pressure so that they can flex under a given pressure so that the drive rollers of the pump tube cannot press together and block the flow through it. The material for the pump tube has a high flexibility and resists pressure, using a plastic which retains its dimensions and has a strength of 55 Shore +- 5 Shore. The end of the coupling towards the hose tube matches the inner diameter of the tube, and has a conical expansion where the tube is drawn over it in a secure connection. A sleeve is placed over the tube, tightly against its outer surface in a secure fit. The coupling can have two conical sections to take both ends of the tube, drawn towards the center of the coupling in a tight fit, secured by tight external sleeves. The pump is operated by a foot switch. The pump has a mounting for a surgical suction unit, with a release connection between the suction unit and the pump. The pump and the suction unit can be operated by a double foot switch.
