The water installation is for a bath or shower basin (1) and has an air/gas jet (A) produced by a motor (2) causing water (3) to be recirculated by a device (4) through an outlet to a distributor (5). The installation arranges for air/gas to be mixed with the recirculated water. An apparatus is incorporated which is an electrical air or water heater or a gas-operated heater, which also itself can produce the air/gas current. The bath or shower basin is insulated, and a heat-insulating cover (21) is arranged over the water (3) or on the edge of the basin.
