The abrasion or sanding ring (1) has a carrying piece (4) and an abrasion body (3) with a nose (5) on the carrying piece in a hole (7) on the side of the ring. The hole is easily accessible for insertion of a screw (9) and the ring is made from Bakelite (Phenol-Formaldehyde). In the holes is another recess (11) whose axis is radial to the axis of the hole and reaches a recess extension (11'). The extension recess has a fixing screw (8) whose shaft (9) is parallel to the axis (L) of the hole.
