The mobile lifting work platform has an undercarriage, a column as such or a column with a guide, and a platform and drives. The column (2) is tubular, and in it is a pneumatic thrust motor as a first pneumatic drive. Via at least one guide wheel (7) is fed a tractive device (6) with the platform (3). At least one wheel (9) of the undercarriage (1) is coupled via a friction wheel drive, directly or via a pneumatically acting coupling, with a pneumatic rotary motor as second pneumatic drive of the lifting work platform.
