The inner portions of the floor beams (1) form a square. The outer portions of the floor beams (2) extend beyond the nodal points (5) where the beams cross each other. The ends of the outer portions support wooden or steel auxiliary beams (3) which may hold the wall cladding. Vertical support beams may connect nodal points on different floors. The building may incorporates reinforced concrete walls which can resist wind loading.
