The roof gutter connecting piece (1) is for watertight fixture to a U-shaped profile gutter and comprises a strip (2) of copper, zinc or galvanized steel plate bent to fit on the outside of the gutter. The strip has two surfaces, of which the one fits on the inside of the gutter and the other is an outside turned away from the gutter. A bent front end (3) of the strip is provided, having a convex formation matching the curvature of the gutter. On the other hand, the strip has a straight rear end (4) formed as two tabs, which have two holes as a tension aid.
