The suspension is for a gate (1) in the padded sides of a riding school and uses two support arms (4,5) with a hinge joint. The rotary points of the two hinges (6,7) are arranged one above the other behind the inclined padded sides. The arms for suspension are located above and below the padded side so that the latter does not obstruct movement. The rotary points of the two hinges are located outside the gate frame, so that a rotation occurs simultaneously with the outward movement of the gate panel (3) from the gate aperture.
