The in-line skate brakes comprise a braking actuator (6,7,8) with shells (10) which rotates about an insert (12). The shells are symmetrical with a middle edge of the rollers (9) in the direction of travel, and grip around part of the edge. The shells form a unit with the rollers between the two inserts and the height of the axis of rotation (13) of the rollers is positioned in the housing axle (11) of the shell. The braking actuator has an elastic track (7) which allows movement on the heel area (3).
