The stagelessly adjustable joint (1) has at least one joint part (2,4) and a bearing bed (17,18) in which a conical pin (3) can be pressed. The joint parts and the conical pin are penetrated by coaxially running holes (10,11). The holes accommodate tightening screws and through them the joint axis runs. The conical pin is formed on the joint parts or is a component freely insertable in them. The conical pin is formed as a double cone. The bearing bed (17,18) has a conically running inner surface (15,16). At least one of the joint parts has an inner thread coaxially aligned to the joint axis.
