The device has a plastics model of a human hand (5) fastened to the upper end (4) of an inverted pendulum (3). The pendulum consists of a thin strip of spring steel. The pivot point of the pendulum (2) is fastened to a rubber suction cup (1) which holds the assembly on a glass windscreen. The model hand swings form side to side as the vehicle is driven along the road.
